My grassroots.

Once in a fertile land of Grace
Nature birthed me this wonderful forests
The beautiful birds and animals dwelt
And through it flows a blessed river
Carrying away the sorrows from our land.
On moonlight nights
The fire we lit
And all us children by that time,
Sit around the fire to make up memories:
Then the elders come and join'
To tell us the mysteries of our land
The norms and customs that held us together.
Wars arose in our land
Sons and daughters of our land
Sharpening spears seeking blood...
Who wins will take over the land.!
Where then did we learn hatred?
Where did we get the magnet of troubles?
that to burry instead of marry!
Where's our hopes and faith all gone?
Where you elders that taught us respect, discipline and love for each other?
When you lived we had sense of peace..
But now see... all is gone
These wonderful forests have been traded for charcoal!
The birds nolonger sing melodies'
Only the owl hoots!
The blessed river is cursing pollution!
The lands were green when you lived.
But when you're gone,
Your sons ruined
The grassroots of my land.
