This last month has been so emotional
It really feels like my final destination
To have four friends to past
Every three days
Plus the pain from last year of two
This pandemic has me
In a whole new phase
Then to have my cousin with
Two weeks to live to final close her eyes
Then another to have his cancer
it to come back the 3rd time
Was really a shocking surprise
Now I have a funeral tomorrow
After a month in the hospital
His death of covid brings
Our neighborhood to another sorrow
Being strong is the hardest part
Because the Reaper is
around my corner
I only take my mask off for a second
To show my tears of sadness
Because in the morning I have to be
ready to guard my fragile life for
The next rain of death before
He case it
