My heart wonders at an oblivious junction

One leading to that fair lady

With everything a man would want

God first, respectful and with a nice body

From her God, I'm next

Her palm holding me together when everything seems apart

And her whispers, giving me a feel I can move mountains

But then my heart, seems a stranger to hers

Forcing itself to beat for her, but then no

And the other path

That dark lady my soul yearns for

With everything and yet so disorganized within

Holding onto other men how she'll never hold me

Treating them like I always dreamt of

Without God and she puts me last

And her yells, " do whatever you want" when I dare ask

And my stupid heart seems to always beat for her

And my soul stretching to beseech what shouldn't be
