As I amble along this path,
I ponder my copious love.
My plaintive voice echos longingly,
Against the blackest night.
It would appear you are ubiquitous.
My mind cannot be rid of you,
Although I am denied.
I cannot make myself more worthy,
I cannot be less vulgar.
My corners cannot be rounded,
They have always been this sharp.
And on this night the moon
Finds me inebriated by you.
She finds me inextricably wound up in you.
She notices my ardentness,
When I speak to her of you.
My lady says forget it,
For I am not tenuous.
My lady says move on,
For not a person cares.
