My last word, a goodbye to the earth,
A farewell to the life that I had from my birth.
I've lived and I've loved, I've laughed and I've cried,
And now, with my final breath, I'll take one last stride.
My last word, a message to those I hold dear,
A final word of love, to make their hearts clear.
That I loved them, I cherished them until the end,
And my love for them, my dearest friends, will never bend.
My last word, a hope for a brighter tomorrow,
A wish for peace, love and joy, to follow.
For the world, for the people, for all that we know,
For a future that's brighter, a future that glows.
My last word, a legacy that I'll leave behind,
A mark that I've made, a light that will shine.
For all the world to see, for all to remember,
That I lived, that I loved, and that I'll be forever.
