My Letter to Ghanaians

Here's my thought I have to share
This land is blessed
With resources measureless
Staring at the enticing hips of the Western region
And the seductively protruding breast of the North
From the rocky hills of the Eastern side to the sodden earth of Akosombo's silky feet.
I see a magnificent beauty of golden pride
The painful beauty of Cape Coast castle and Elmina too
The smiles of the monkey bridge in kakum park
The perished lives we trampled on in the heart of Accra.
Yet we embrace the peace the wind whispers.
Freedom is heavily endowed
In her eyes lie the view of industrious love
Peace is a priceless soul
Let not political spears of confusion wound her
She might not recover and the deepness of her wound may leave a scar too dark to erase.
Oh children of the this beautifully endowed damsel
You. Yes! You. Kwesi, Adjoa, Fafa, Musa and Nii,
Let not the diversity of your ambition erase the togetherness of your hearts
Lest you forget the breast from which you suckle life
And bite the hands that once fed you.
But guard with all your might
This scarless body of Peace
And protect the life of freedom lest you mourn her because of selfishness.
Dwell in love and enjoy the Beauty of diversified culture.
