"My Life, Your Death"

when we came together
that dark and dreary night
the stars were synchronized
just right,
the silhouettes of a lost sanctuary, tainted rareitys
of when dedication was devotion
and we all sought out discrepencies, and broken fingers
pointing at the other way out
I layed myself up on your alter
disillusioned by burden of urgency,
your so hot yet cold to the touch
if I admitted I missed you
would it cost to much?
What we can't see, what we can't
hear
it all thrives in throes, for each
chance to recollect what we dispose.
