My Love...my dear Moon

How can I bridle this fragile heart of mine,
and these budding eyes too,
which often get glued to the dazzling queen of the sky?
So vivid and vibrant, defeating the ferocious darkness;
All the joys knock my unfortunate door
from that vantage point near her realm.
Her brightness would shame those fascinating stars
by throwing the subtle and cozy beams,
that get imprisoned in the soul of thousands at once.
Thy travails will get swaddled in the lovely snug,
O' my dear valley of blood ceremonies!
She does nurture all her pilgrims with deep zeal
O'er the threshold of her unparalleled glory.
Oh Mighty Giver! I desire to stare her infinitely,
and unheed the brutal tempest of the dark.
See, how she brings a glow on my shabby face,
all I beseech is to trap those golden beams,
in dusty palms of mine and put them on my face,
and so... this wretched face would keep shining forever !
