My Native Land

I am proud of my native land,
Where the forests are bright and clean,
Where the trees are so much green,
Where the rivers are starry clean,
Where men harvest golden grain,
Where spreads Monsoon stormy rain,
Where men walk in dewy grass,
Where sings keteki her sweet songs.
And in flood the spring rain falls,
And for rain the rainbow calls.
In broad daylight, the streams are stars,
On the night trees spread silvers.
The streams roll and murmur song
The clouds in the sky wonder long.
