My own prisoner
The day she left was the day I built my own prison.
Seeing her was like watching the sun from just one small window...
I miss her scent like the fresh scent of freshly cut grass
I can't talk to her and tell her the things that my heart cries for my mouth to utter to her
It's like I'm stuck in a prison and watching the life behind walls
Although I see her I refrain from speaking
To reach out to her with my arms but I was restrained
And now I understand why I'm held in my own inbuilt prison
It was because I was not good for her and her wellbeing
I was a dangerous individual not worthy to see, adore and embrace another beauty such as her...
