Growing up poor and neglected
All I ever wanted was to be respected
Cold nights cause the bills were not paid
tuning in a channel on the bunny ears I made
Trying to sleep but the music is too loud my uncles peeing on my bookshelf and my bed is a couch
I thought this was normal and I tried to maintain ,my goodwill clothes covered in stains
My friends helped me through but not after long we were singing the tunes we were hitting the bong
we were trapped in a world that chose to forget us we were not invited to events and most kids parents resented us
We were united in pain and chose the wrong path
the years that followed well....you do the math.
Although harsh and unforgiving the abilty to see both sides of the coin is a blessing
We lived outside of society because society had locked the door no entry for those that cannot meet the dress code
So in sumation Id like to say unlock the door and let the outcasts of society play
