Down came the storm upon my fragile heart
Weary and weeping, I leap on the cross
To save and protect, forever I trust
His grace and mercy, he ever entrust
To cleanse my soul and discard my curse
I sit upon a valley of thorns watching the sun
Praying while replying my bitter regrets
Forgiveness I'm seeking from jesus the son
Who knows it all and forever yea great
His blood freely given to pay the last cost
His throne, my treasure I can never measure
Through trials I'll rejoice, sins forgiven I'm sure
Discarding the world, to seek his own word
This I'll do for I'm not of this world
His path I'll map out for others to find
The last mile I walk never to redress
Upon his word I'll map out my course
Forever in sight his saving light
His blessing I'll share for others to rejoice
In sickness and health his message I share.
