My pen is my only friend

My pen let's me say
What I want to say
It listens to me
Never repeating my words
Or betraying me in any way
Actually it has saved me
Over and over again
Where would I be
Without you
My pen
Such a simple friend
Who asks for nothing
Doesn't drain me
Who let's me be
Completely me
Never tires of what
I have to say
Doesn't judge
Or criticize
Always there
Let's my hand flow
Knows everything
That others don't know
All my feelings
I never show
My so called friends
Only want me
For them
There to self absorbed
To see
I share nothing of me
That's ok
I'm safe
They can never betray me
My pen
My true friend
