When I sit down to write
I try to block any distractions
In my head is where I go
My mind gives me traction
It's like a movie in my brain
I think lights , camera , action
The light goes on inside
My thoughts go quite random
The camera , my imagination
Visualizing words until I'm done
The action is my trusty pen
Writing and reciting , I have fun
When it's finished I read it over
Then I decide what has to change
Taking one word from another line
Moving around and I rearrange
The end result may not be good
So I forget it and turn the page
When I am satisfied with one
Friends and family give advice
After they give the thumbs up
I will look it over to be precise
Once it's completed I feel better
Then I post it and let others decide
