When I sit down to write
I block any distractions
In my head is where I go
My mind gives me traction
It's like a movie in my brain
I think , lights , camera , action
The light goes on up inside
My thoughts go on random
The camera , my imagination
Visualizing words until I'm done
The action is my trusty pen
Writing and reciting , I have fun
When finished I read it over
Then I decide what has to change
Taking this word from that line
Moving around and I rearrange
The end result may not be good
So I forget it and turn the page
Then when I am satisfied with one
I check with friends for advice
After they give me a thumbs up
I look it over to be more precise
Once it's complete I feel better
Then I post it and let others decide
