My reflection
Sometimes I really don't understand her
The lady staring back at me in the mirror
A total stranger
She is to me
I won't say she's loving, caring or understanding
Just like the weather she changes a lot
One minute she's happy the other she's not
One time she's smiling the next she's crying
She's so unpredictable
She's so strange
And there's nothing I can really do to change
She's a hard puzzle to crack
A hard riddle to solve
Trying to understand her
Is like running through a maze
A maze full of pythons and thorns
It's like going in circles in a big wild forest
Where everything wants you dead
Happiness has abandoned her
Sadness clouded her
She cuts deep to reach her pain
Deeper to free her demons
More and more deep to taste freedom
Freedom from her self
Freedom from her pain
Freedom from sadness
And everything putting her down
Her mind won't stop tormenting her
It's like she's in battle with her self
A battle she's not equipped for
A battle no one prepared her for
A battle only she can fight
But sadly she's loosing
Each time she stares back at me
I see her endless pain
I see tears hidden behind her smile
While I can't even wipe them
She's sad
This cruel world has turned her mara
In the mirror
Her scars are visible
In the mirror
Her pain is noticable
Her eyes are swolen
A face once pretty now destroyed
Everything is falling apart
She's giving up on life
And there's nothing I can do
She's loosing hope in her self
And I can't help her
She's dying inside as days go by
Every heart beat
Feels like a knife is stabbing her
She's wants to end her life
But she doesn't have the guts to
The only thing she can do
Is just balance the pain within
By inflicting more pain on her body
I feel as much pain as she feels
I cry as much as she cries
A river or even an ocean
An ocean full of pain and anguish
An ocean mixed with blood and tears
An ocean that we both drowning
Her and I both trapped in my body
She's me and I'm her
I feel twice the pain
While staring at my reflection
I feel it even more deeper
For we share a connection
Like I said we are one
She's my reflection
Sadly she's me.
