MY RIGHTS

Life, liberty, and the persuit of happiness
The Constitution promises me these
Now the spoiled ones say I can't have them...
I don't feel sorry your life was/is hard
Do you feel sorry that mine has been???
You say you've rights because
Your life was born of slavery
That you are OWED a living...
My ancestors welcome thieves to our land
Our land was full of wildlife to hunt
The land was fertile and food was in abundance
Now we scratch a living in sand
The government hands us poor meat
Meager fruits and veggies
We get pennies for an "Allowance"
We can't even drink on our reservation
While you can get drunk in your Ghettos???
Then you've the nerve to say you are OWED???
You want to change things to suit you???
The fact that my brother's and sisters
Died to give you these rights makes me sick
You cry out for equality, but, only if it's your way...
When we become the manority and you the majority
Will you treat us as you expected us to
Treat and bendover backwards for you???
I dare say no and ten times ten thousand times no...
