I lost my shadow, it got taken away.
There's no more sunshine
I pushed it away.
I turn back only to see
that my shadow is eating me.
It’s not the same you see,
my dreams and reality.
I wake up to the mirror only to see,
shards of my broken reality.
I see my reflection,
reflection of my shadow eating me.
My shadow is a sun kissed reflection of me,
My shadow shows a child full of glee
But what no one is knowing,
Is my shadow is growing,
And it is slowly killing me.
They thought I was happy.
Because I am smiling to everybody
But look at my shadow.
You will see.
How the shadow's darkness is like inside of me.
