I sat alone all by myself
Thinking of life and its struggles
I found every one aloof and distant
All busy ,no one cared nor bothered
I kept on looking for a listening ear
waiting to be heard and wipe my tear.
Suddenly a voice said"I am here for you"
I looked around to see who was there
It was something within me who spoke in a pleasant tone
whom I had never heard or cared for
It was my friend ,my own soul at my rescue
From this selfish world of sadness and despair.
I was happy to find my mate ,who will be by my side at every hour of the day.
