My Soul Finds Its Place

To all the haters, your words don't sting,
I do as I please, my heart takes wing.
Critics may sneer, their judgments unjust,
I follow my passion, in words I trust.
Your insults and jabs, they fall on deaf ears,
As I revel in darkness and face my fears.
For I am unbound, free in my expression,
Writing my poetry, a form of confession.
So understand, you can't dictate my fate,
My love for the written word won't abate.
In the depths of my verses, shadows reside,
Where my thoughts and emotions collide.
So, haters, your words mean nothing to me,
I'll keep writing boldly, dark poetry.
For in every line, I find solace and grace,
With each word I write, my soul finds its place.
