My spectacles
They think I can't see without you
when all I can't see without you is something far
People dish out several names to you
But daringly, you'll still remain my spectacles.
Without you my endearing companion;
It takes me eternity to complete my notes,
Brings me smug nags for illegible handwriting
And dents me with the jest from my friends.
I remember abandoning you -my spectacles, instigated your spoilt
And my shyness of you had always caused me to strain my eyes
All to shun you because of an archenemy, a defect called myopia
But I forgot, I look endearingly awesome in it as well.
