My star that shines in the Midnight sky
When we first met you shined so bright
You were by far the prettiest in the sky at night
You were so pretty that it made my eye tear
So I dried my eyes but you weren’t there my dear
I looked up I look down I look East then West
You were bye far my favorite star above all the rest
Every night for a week I searched for you thought you had fallen from the sky
Then I found you again you were playing hide and seek
You decided you wanted to go hide but you took a peek
then I saw you there hiding don’t be shy
When I couldn’t find you in the sky I wanted to cry
You know I have never seen beauty that was so intense
That every night I come out to search for you it’s so thrilling that I’m in suspense
Star in the midnight sky I was so happy that I finally found you tonight
So I can show everyone how brightly you shine in the sky at midnight
You should come out and play you’re a such a sight
Let that beauty shine don’t close That Door
I see you now you cannot run from me anymore
I found you first
now you will quench my thirst
I’ve been looking for you such a long time
I’ve spent so many hours of the day and night and I spent a lot of dimes
I knew you were out there for me
You and I were meant to be
Can’t you see that you’re my destiny
I see that sparkle in your eyes oh my you gave me a wink tonight
Well I see the sun coming up and it’s time for you to leave my sight as I can’t see you in the light
I will dream of you until I see you again and now its time for me to say goodbye
