I stumble and fall
Crawl on my knees
Cry and blame
Just feeling so lame
Struggle with my self
Fighting battles that I only know
Accuse and torment me
For mistakes I couldn't control
The blades
The Blood stains
The cuts
The unending pain
The torture from within
Suicidal thoughts
So crazy they get
Hospitalized they leave me
Guess what?
All that is in the past
It all strengthened me
Taught me lessons
Made me wiser
Braver
And a conquerer
Deep down I'm a champion
A star
I'm the definition of the word survivor
I went through everything
That was meant to finish me
Everything that was meant to harm me
I cheated death
With its own cards
Played the monster's game
And won
They under estimated me
They thought they buried me
Not knowing I was a seed
That germinated
And grew through the harsh weather
With no water
Nor sunlight
But still survived
All this wouldn't have been possible
If it wasn't for my support system
They held me down
Gave me a shoulder to lean on
Always listening to my constant wails
Wiping tears from my eyes
Each time I had the attacks
And thought it was the end
They were there to remind me
"This too shall pass"
You see we all need someone
Someone to show us the way
Each time we get lost
Each time we fall
We all need a hand to pull us up
And a person to vent to
And to the Most High
He never left
Always was there
Each time I called His name
He answered
So many things wouldn't have succeeded
If I didn't believe in Him

For being my best friend
