MY STORY

MY STORY
I did reflect on the path I travelled ,
My story's plot was so ravelled,
Only now can I understand the essence,
Having passed through a state of quiescence.

This state made my life unproductive,
I had to do something to make it constructive,
One by one I had to kill those parts of myself,
The warrior in me had to be taken out of the shelf.

So one by one I laid them down as I walked,
Even at times where I felt chocked,
Because loosing parts of me left me fresh scars,
But this was needed in order to raise my bars.

I look back and I'm proud of the warrior in me,
Laying parts of me down has made me free,
I now stand tall ,strong and proud.
Though healing but guarded and loud
