Yesterday I said I would be great but today I feel like am late,
Yesterday I said I would be on tv but today I look in the mirror and can't even see me,
Yesterday I sat with the stars but today the sun won't even set on my side,
Yesterday the sky was bright but today the moon won't come out and the time is night,
Yesterday I said the sky won't be my limit but today the ceiling seems to high to reach,
Yesterday I planned to rule the world but today I feel like the foot mat at the door,
Yesterday I said I would leave out my dream but today I'm too scared to face reality,
Yesterday I said I would spread the word but today I feel so unworthy to say the name above all,
Yesterday I said all my problems would end but today it feels like I'm at the beginning of the bend,
It's a battle between yesterday and today,
Who will win?
My yesterday or My today.
