During lunch period, Timothy sat with four of his best friends who he had known since kindergarten. Mike, Jeremiah, Gregg and Anthony. Mike was his first friend who he had much in common with.
Mike is humorous and cool. He tried so hard to flirt with every girl in the school and never succeeded. Mike is a chubby boy with a low haircut and always worn plain big T-shirts with no logos on them. Jeremiah is the awkward and shy one who has low-self esteem. He is the quietest one in the group who always listened and observed. Gregg is the intelligent and clever one who is a bookworm. He is light-skin and skinny. He has curly short hair and worn thick glasses. Anthony is talkative among the group. He has a medium height, and wears glasses as well. He got teased often because the others called him Stevie Wonder.
"I kind of wish Mark was part of our Gizem club, and I think we would of had some fun together," Timothy said.
"Friends with a white boy, you have to be kidding me," Gregg said, shaking his head.
"Why do you guys always make it a racial thang? Who cares if the boy is white and came from a racist community. That doesn't mean he is a racist. Like Come on, I thought by now, this was a integrated world since we living in the 21st century. I thought this prejudice stuff ended after Martin Luther King got assassinated in 1968," Timothy stated.
"Timothy, you remember when Mark had called D'Angelo and Marron niggers and you don't think that's being racist?" Mike asked.
