I never thought it could be true,
But then you made me feel so sure,
And yet there's something left unsaid,
A mystery that's in my head.
I've searched and looked with all my might,
But still I cannot find the light,
That shows me how you got inside,
And how you made me feel alive.
When I first saw you, I was lost,
My heart was pounding, tempest-tossed,
Your beauty left me in a daze,
And made my heart skip several beats.
But now I know that you're the one,
The one who's always on my mind,
I'll never let you slip away,
For fear that I'll be left behind.
I love you more than words can say,
Although sometimes I'm filled with doubt,
But I'll keep my promise to you,
And I'll never let you go without.
I remember how you hold me close,
And how you make me feel so loved,
I feel it in my bones and soul,
And know that we were meant to be.
Your love is like a sweet embrace,
It's all I need to feel alive,
I'm yours forever, heart and soul,
For with you, I will always thrive.
