Nature
It is indeed profound,
The way the river flows—
melodic in its speed,
sharp and soothing in its smell.
I am inspired by the nature of its relationship with the rocks;
I cannot imagine how the rocks pave their arms wide,
a gesture only the river can comprehend.
Drawn to the rocks' steadfast attention,
a belonging craved by the river—
a companion in this fleeting world where Nature is so often lonesome.
Attracted to their kindness,
allowing the river to paint every bead of water upon them, composing an art of perfect tenderness.
Each grain of sand,
a shining diamond,
embedded to portray the unique relationship that transpires between the river and its rock.
Nature is lovely, nature is sad...
To watch its solemn companion lose its brightness through the tides of time,
Deaf to its feeling and the touch of its rushing,
Oh, poor rocks;
oh, sad rivers; which in return lack the desire to expand further, succumbing to the mercy of the world's scourge—
the bright, yellow bulb above their canvas.
