Your love is nectar for my soul
Your love is everything to me
I am a blossoming flower
And you are my bumble bee.
As summer heat slips away
And winter cold sets on in
You leave to go back home
Where you live with all your kin.
When spring comes once again
You come and check on me
In the garden where I have been
Waiting for what seemed an eternity.
Once again you embrace me
With your love so very deep
That all I can do is love you back
For it’s your love I want to keep.
For years you have cared for me
As your nectar keeps me alive
And I always hope to see you again
After you return to the safety of your hive.
