as I sat in my self made prison that was like a dungeon I was sure there was no escape
I even tried to take it down one stone block at a time with a memory return with no prevail...
I had already set the pace for the life stence I was to serve..
then I saw a light with my blind eyes I could hear my soul whisper to my inner being she is coming to she sees the road
my inner being jump for joy and hollered to my heart you can beat again we fixen to run someone held the light for us to see the path is clear for the taking
I began my race that light never fucken wavered and now I know my mistake that prison wasn't built for me it wasn't my memories that binded me here it was the shit I had been pumping in my arm...
now I'm clean that 5cc will never see the day it gets me thank you my neighbor friend thank you for being there for me never even knowing you was helping a person you never knew you was my strength you was the camera that made me see what was escaping me...
you beared my misery just to help me see the light again my neighbor friend...
this poem is dedicated to the neighbor across the hill in that little white trailer who I will never know who never knew I exsisted to you was truely my anchor...
with out your porch light I would
have lost the path I know it hard to understand but that the beauty of this world of us people you don't have to understand just know you helped me in my darkest hours you helped me even when I thought I was surely gone bat shit crazy thank you my neighbor friend for being my neighbor when I need a neighbor most

I would sit and look out my window for the longest of time trapped inside my mind until I saw your light burning bright for some reason that light became a comfort to me made me feel like you could see and feel my pain made me realize I wasn't alone like you were there holding my head showing me the way to sanity thank you from the bottom of my heart..
