I told myself I wouldn't write about you anymore.
We aren't together so what would I write about you for?
I do have to admit all my best poems are about you.
I guess I'll have to write about someone new.
But I can't get you off my mind.
And before I know it I've written another line.
About you.
And I don't want to.
I used to write our names then write forever.
Really starting thinking about not writing anymore poems altogether.
Be the only way to get away from the thoughts of you.
But think about you is all I do.
I know this much you'll never get another poem out of me.
I promise you that you'll see.
