F

Never apart

Her final breath has passed
Out of her tiny chest the past
So tiny and fragile peaceful at last
She has returned to the dust
She will be terribly missed
Totally irreplaceable
Her lips that you once kissed
Now cold and blue
Death has taken his due
His pound of flesh, extracted anew
Gone even if against the heavens we may cry and shake our fist
You loved her but he loved her most
And decided to give her rest
Good protects us like a bird over her nest
And maybe all this was for the best
Let not your heart be at unrest
Trials are just but a test
And maybe it was his plan cause you never know what was in store
The bitter tears Will roll down
Your face maybe furrowed in a frown
Everyone in a black gown
Screams through the whole town
But it will pass and you will be strong
She, an innocent, has done no wrong
It was part of the plan all along
She will always occupy an hallowed place in your heart
Because in life true families never part.
