Night: Part 1

Dusk allows the sun to finally set,
after a day of endless work,
moon begins its shift,
creatures of darkness begin to lurk
In the woods and far away,
tall trees began to sway,
in the wind, cool and thick,
it gives little leaves a gentle flick
Fluttering bats emerge pit of the cave,
moon struggles with the clouds, like a slave,
hooting of owls trigger the fear,
of mice, who now move with caution and care
Bushes house the deepest secrets,
burrows are filled with strange creatures,
reptiles find it best to hunt,
in the night, using their features
Eggs hatch on the beach,
turtles have found something new to teach,
moonlight guides the newly born,
egg shells have been recently torn
The cityscapes have a lot to say,
people follow their very own way,
comfortable in their very own home,
lost in their very own thoughts,
activities are lots
with children gone to bed quite early,
their mood swings are not surly,
night life is at its peak,
no one is scared of any more freak
Wintry nights are very cold,
reside ts have to be quite bold,
their blankets and pillows have put up a fight,
so in the cold their owners can survive
The homeless face the worst of all,
still their hopes stand very tall,
up above the world so high,
god hears the poor ones' cry
He shovers them with a lot of blessings,
so much that the night lights up,
their faces shape a little smile,
happiness is gathered in a pile
Night,
An escape for the depressed,
Night,
a friend to someone alone,
Night,
a saviour for someone stressed
