In the night we flourished,
It's quiet sky was where we would gaze,
Up to the stars we were so attentive,
From the ground where our body lays,
Head rested on my shoulders,
Your hand placed perfectly in mine,
A place we could escape to,
As everything was just fine,
Listening to your voice,
As you talked away your day,
Sharing another moment,
Through the night we'd stay,
Together till the sun appeared,
Parting ways at sight of first light,
Waiting for day to pass on by,
So we would have another perfect night.
