The darkness scares me.
I wonder why.
Everything is there.
Just blind to my eye.
I guess it's the feeling
that something could be there.
You break out in a cold sweat.
You go into an intimate stare.
As your body impulses
at every heartbeat.
You get scared so bad
your throat goes to your feet.
Like an epiphany you finally figure out.
It's all better once the daylight comes out.
