It makes a grand entrance only at midnight.
Just because it feeds on fright.
It's silhouette form blends with the darkness.
And the whole point of that is not to hide it's baldness.
Theme music is always the sound of dogs barking in fear.
That is the signal that it is near.
Room becomes unusually chilly.
Breath gets icey to the point where you feel silly.
It stands right close to you with nothing visible but it's eyes.
"It's all a dream", all you do is tell yourself lies.
Such a patient creature; it waits for you to fall deep asleep.
Just so your soul will be for it to reap.
And when you gain consciousness and gaze upon it's green eyes.
Your body will be numb enough for you not to rise.
You struggle to utter words that come out as mumbling.
In reality you're humming but you assume you're rambling.
It takes full control of your body but not your spirit.
All your body does is let tears out while you try to move it.
Then again it could all just be a nightmare.
So close those eyes and open them again...It will still be right there.
