The roses wither away
As I kneel down to pray.
I'm shedding these tears
Upon your nightmarish fears.
I would like to hold you
But the look I'm getting from you tells me your swallowed up in my truth.
How did we get here
Still lost inside your fears.
Counting down the nights you fall asleep.
There aren't to many, but they are yours to keep.
I felt your strength between the sheets.
