No flowers in sight
In spite of adequate showers
All out of season they are
There'll be no iris
There'll be no rose
There'll be no rose of Sharon
There'll be no sunflower
There'll be no tulip
There'll be no passion flower
There'll be no evening Primrose
It will not be business as usual
Tonight there'll be no bouquets for dinner
There'll be no water lily
Every petal all dried and withered
No sweet smelling scent
No sign of flowers as they bloom
No cherry blossom
No apple blossom
No floral fragrance at all
