My Queen what has happened
Your beauty shined brighter than a full moon
The smile you had
made an empty land bloom
now that you've left
our villagers life has been brought into gloom.
The land turns gray
the trees now bend from life now they sleep
once we had hope
now it's fear we keep
our stock grows lower
something in the shadows hunt our sheep
Our children have become broken
they cry out tears that something is under their beds
we second look the shadows
and now diluted
we wonder is it all in our heads
My Queen look what you've done
the brave pack up and run
and get picked off one by one
I wait deep in the woods
into the shadows
you never come
I can hear you all around
you fear my sword and you know my heart can't run
once I pierce your heart
this plague you bestowed will be undone
you are no longer a Queen
wrapped into the arms of the shadows
you've become one
My villagers you terrorize
one day I'll find you
and this will be all done
I'll free my people and once again we will live under the sun
for now keep running and hiding
one day there will be no where to run
the hunter will become the hunted
I promise you that
This ring I hold
a promise to a new life for our villagers

a heart of gold
