Acting like there is no problem,
Laughing in the act of crying.
Closing your eyes to the visible problems,
Staring you in the dark,
Don't mean there is no problem.
I don't have the right
To direct the finger of guilt,
For I can barely see
Through the speck in my eyes.
We all have roles to play,
In figuring out the problem.
Maybe we have forgotten
The true definition of love,
Hence paving way for lust.
Maybe our dictionaries no longer
Contains the word humanity,
Hence being unable to restore the sanity.
Making it seems like there is no problem.
Daily the value of life is depreciating,
With the reality of depression appreciating.
We're very content with mediocrity,
Thereby loosing our authority in democraty.
Yet we see no problem.
Youths are the leaders of tomorrow,
Same youths are loosing their heads to tobacco,
Being responsible for all forms of irresponsibility,
Making immorality the standard of tomorrow.
Do we still see no problem?
If only we can redefine love,
And remember the meaning of humanity,
Maybe then we can restore the sanity,
Thereby solving one major problem in humanity.
