NOONTIME
The year is in its noontime.
Six months more and its bedtime.
Dine with self-scrutiny and sanctions.
In all you do, mate with moderation.
Brush away old heartaches.
Let's learn from our mistakes.
Another month stakes its place.
Surely, new dawn awakes.
Lay off old months and their wants.
Kiss the new ones and their wands.
Bury the bad things of the then.
Grow the good things of the now.
As 'simple' as it can be,
Study the sting of the bee
The latter will worth it
when you relish its honey.
Noontime is still in its prime
Let's labour now before our prime.
Let time prime the lines fame
Our pains will soon raise our game.
