I remember as if
it was just yesterday,
when I wished I could
Trap the morning sun's ray!
It was my greatest wish
when I was a little child,
To kiss the glowing moon;
My thoughts would run wide!
Such dreams didn't last long
For, as I grew wiser,
With each passing day,
My hopes began to shatter.
Those dreams are now forbidden
By the worldly wisdom I gained,
How nostalgic I feel today!
My heart is deeply pained!
