It's never as simple as they make it out to be,
At least not for me, I find it difficult to be happy.
They say just don't sweat the small shit,
Forgive and forget, lifes just what you choose to make it.
But it's not as cut and dry as they say,
It don't just go away, and I'm reminded everyday.
It hurts just as bad as the day that I fell,
And I can still tell, that getting up is hurting like hell.
I know it's not as simple but I continue to try,
Happiness is hard to come by, when your heart just wants to die.
