Not his time to go..

He sat there ready to say goodbye to the world.
Listening to his Playlist and feeling a little cold.
She appeared in spirit, the girl he loved forever.
But all he wanted was a way they can be together.
She told him " it's not your time to go"
All he wanted was to love her so.
She said " I will always be there for you, but you need to fall in love again. "
all he wanted was his life to end.
As she disappeared a hand touched his cheek.
Feeling like this he couldn't speak.
He started to slip off the edge and a woman reached out to grab his hand.
He just wanted to die, but nobody understands.
They looked into each other's eyes..
And all he wanted to do was cry.
Months have passed and he started to understand what his girlfriend said.
The woman that saved his life, was the one who he may some day wed.
It's true that it wasn't his time to go.
It's true that he still loved her so.
But right now at this moment he had a lot to live for.
He went back to the cliff and thanked his ex girlfriend but at the same time his heart tore.
He was finally happy again.
He understood when his heart started to mend.
He now believed, this was not his time to die.
A tear fell down his cheeks, they were happy tears, that he cried.
