When my daughter was young
She love to dress in lace
I remember your not just a pretty face
Many a young man's heart will be won,
The years went flying by
We all got a little older
When she had her heart was broken
She lay her head upon my shoulder,
Over time she met a nice young man
Though he had moods unpredictable
He still was to her ever so kind
For wasn't any where despicable.
When ask if she really loved him
She said Papa Bear I do
Do want to know my reason why
He has a heart solid and true,
So they've love through the years
Fought back a river of tears
Even when they thought it was over
Their love lasted for many more year's,
Yes, lasted for many more year's.
