"Not looking for righteousness cause it doesn't exist in this reality. Isn't it obvious that when you're soft and wanna just be a child, you find yourself beaten and disfigured? Not looking for perfection if I never seen or experienced it, only looking up above for clarification. How is it that we're so caught up in standards, or a certain way to live, when we're just as grimy as the next man, given the circumstance. I mean, why should judgment be so quick to draw, while "mercy" gets the slow wheel? Not looking for the righteousness of man, if their only ambition is to raise you up, then if you cross or go out of your lane, drag you down to someone you never seen before. Not looking to for any audiences or people singing my praises, only the righteousness that opens those gates, when all this is in flames. How I walk among the filthiest of sins, the self inflicted wounds I scrape, I come to see that I'm not looking for righteousness, only an understanding of who raised me, guides me, and protects me. And, at the end of the day is happy I'm still alive. So keep your ideas on how I live to yourself. My righteousness is above, not in flesh and bones.
