The geese are out on the lake tonight
Squawking, hollering and yelling
Each one of them taking turns to speak
I'm sure they are also doing some swearing
Cursing because it's so windy and cold
Thinking if they would have left sooner this week
They would be sitting on a warm beach down south
Instead they're swimming in winter without heat
