"November's Silent Lament: A Father's Absence"

November 8th, I lay in my bed,
Unable to sleep, turmoil in my head.
Tears flow like rivers, my heart's heavy load,
Desperately seeking a less traveled road.
In the recesses of my mind, my father resides,
His absence a void that nothing can hide.
Why did he depart, leaving me behind,
With promises unfulfilled, a destiny maligned?
He didn't choose this path, fate intervened,
I wish he could watch, a guardian unseen.
A protector from above, to soothe my despair,
Relieve this pain, this heavy burden I bear.
I'm losing my grip, sanity slipping away,
Yearning for relief, for a brighter day.
November 8th, gazing at the starry domain,
I long for my father, to ease the constant pain.
