I

Now We Are Men

I oft depart to join my friend
A cousin like a brother
We sit and drink our coffee
Discussing this, that, and the other
It's aviation sometimes
And other times its math
Or memories we had when
We were kids and lived to laugh
Sometimes I simply sit and think
Of games we used to play
Just how we'd play the movies
I remember to this day
Jurassic Park or Star wars
Didn't matter what we chose
Lord of the Rings or Hobbit
Or worlds all of our own
Yes, I know. Were just young men.
We still have much to learn
But childish bliss has taken flight
It's time to work and earn
