Running away from an uneven fight

To the boundaries of space and time I go

Like the ethereal river I always flow

Moving through this world alone

My cuts and bruises are now shown

Out into the depths of the abyss I roam

However a home I do not have

No place to rest my head

No escape from the everyday

No refuge from the dread

My sanity has become frail

Lost in a war inside my mind

Emotions have derailed

How could I be so blind
